1. What This Warranty Covers
This warranty exclusively covers mechanical defects in the watch movement and internal workmanship under normal use and conditions. This protection is active for a period of 12 months starting directly from the initial date of purchase.
2. What This Warranty Does Not Cover
This warranty is strictly limited to internal mechanical movements and does not cover external elements or damage resulting from external forces. Specifically, this warranty does not cover:
- Damage caused by accidents, neglect, abuse, or misuse, including but not limited to drops, severe impacts, and excessive force.
- Damage resulting from improper handling, incorrect storage, or negligent maintenance.
- Normal cosmetic wear and tear, including surface scratches, minor scuffs, dings, or the natural fading of finishes and materials over time.
- Damage caused by water infiltration or moisture exposure, particularly if the timepiece was subjected to depths beyond its factory rating or if the crown was not properly secured in accordance with the manufacturer's water resistance guidelines.
- Damage resulting from unauthorized modifications, alterations, tampering, or component servicing performed by any third-party watchmaker or service center.
- Consequential or incidental damages, including but not limited to loss of use, loss of time, loss of income, or personal inconvenience.
- Quartz batteries, unless the battery failure is verified by our team to be directly related to an underlying mechanical movement defect.
3. Warranty Service & Claims
To initiate a mechanical warranty claim, please contact our concierge team immediately via phone or email. Our team will verify your purchase details and provide you with a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) along with specific, highly secure instructions on how to safely package and ship your watch to our dedicated service center.
4. Our Responsibility
Upon receiving the timepiece, our certified specialists will perform a comprehensive diagnostic inspection. In the event of a verified, valid warranty claim, Charis Watch will, at its sole discretion, repair the defective movement or replace the timepiece with an identical or comparable reference. We will fully cover the cost of secure, insured return shipping for the serviced timepiece back to your designated delivery address.
5. Important Terms & Conditions
- This warranty is strictly non-transferable and applies solely to the original purchaser of the timepiece directly from Charis Watch.
- Valid proof of purchase (such as your original sales invoice or digital receipt) is strictly required to validate any warranty claim.
- Charis Watch reserves the right to modify, amend, or update the terms of this operational product warranty at any time without prior notice.
